Zeta AI Terms of Service

Full terms of the Zeta AI user agreement

1. The agreement. These terms form a binding contract between you and the operator of Zeta AI, available at zeta-chat.com. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
2. What Zeta AI provides. Zeta AI provides entertainment: text, voice and image conversation with generated virtual companions. Nothing more is promised or implied.
3. Fiction. Every Zeta AI companion is a fictional character. She is not a real person, not a licensed professional, and nothing she says is fact-checked.
4. Age requirement. You must be at least 18 years old, or older where your local law sets a higher age for adult content.
5. Age confirmation. Confirming your age falsely is a material breach and voids your right to use Zeta AI, with no refund.
6. Local law. You are responsible for checking that adult companion services are lawful where you live and access Zeta AI.
7. Account creation. One person, one account. Details you provide must be accurate and kept current.
8. Account security. Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account until you tell us it is compromised.
9. No sharing or resale. Access to Zeta AI is personal. Sharing, renting, reselling or sublicensing an account is prohibited.
10. Free tier. Free access includes a daily message allowance that we may adjust. It is offered as-is, without any availability guarantee.
11. Paid plans. Prices, allowances and features of Zeta AI plans are those shown on the plans section at the moment of purchase.
12. Recurring billing. Paid plans renew automatically for the same period at the same price until you cancel.
13. Cancellation. Cancel at any time in account settings. Access continues to the end of the paid period and is not renewed after that.
14. Refunds. Unused subscription time is generally non-refundable. Where consumer law grants a withdrawal right, we honour it in full.
15. Failed payments. If a charge fails, Zeta AI may suspend paid features until payment succeeds.
16. Taxes. Displayed prices may exclude local sales tax or VAT, which is added at checkout where applicable.
17. Price changes. We may change plan prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Continuing after the notice period means you accept the new price.
18. Acceptable use. Do not use Zeta AI to produce or request content involving minors, non-consenting real people, trafficking, terrorism or serious violence.
19. Real people. Do not attempt to make a companion imitate a real, identifiable person without their consent.
20. Illegal purposes. Do not use Zeta AI for harassment, extortion, fraud, spam, malware distribution or any other unlawful activity.
21. No scraping or automation. Crawling, bulk extraction, reverse engineering, credential stuffing and load attacks on Zeta AI are prohibited.
22. Fair use. Unlimited plans are meant for personal conversation. Automated or industrial-scale volume may be rate-limited.
23. Moderation. Zeta AI may filter, block or refuse a request that breaks these terms, and may suspend an account while investigating a report.
24. Termination by us. We may suspend or close an account for a breach of these terms, for fraud or chargeback abuse, or where the law requires it.
25. Termination by you. You may stop using Zeta AI and delete your account at any moment, for any reason.
26. Effect of termination. On closure your access ends immediately and your chats and companions are deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
27. Your content. You keep ownership of what you write. You grant Zeta AI the limited licence needed to store it and generate replies.
28. Generated content. Zeta AI grants you a personal, non-exclusive licence to the replies and images produced for you, for private, non-commercial use.
29. Our intellectual property. The Zeta AI name, brand, interface, code, design and companion catalogue remain our property.
30. Accuracy. A companion can be confidently wrong. Never rely on Zeta AI for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.
31. No professional advice. Zeta AI is not therapy, counselling or a crisis service. If you are in danger, contact local emergency services.
32. Availability. The service is provided as-is. Maintenance, provider outages and technical faults may interrupt Zeta AI without notice.
33. Feature changes. We may add, alter or retire features. If a paid feature is withdrawn permanently, you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund of the unused period.
34. Third-party services. Zeta AI relies on payment, hosting and model providers and is not liable for their independent failures beyond our reasonable control.
35. Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid Zeta AI in the twelve months before the claim.
36. Excluded damages. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data.
37. Indemnity. You agree to cover claims brought against Zeta AI that arise from your unlawful use of the service.
38. Assignment. You may not transfer these terms. We may assign them in a merger or sale of the business, with notice to you.
39. Severability. If a clause is unenforceable, the rest of these terms remain in force.
40. Changes to these terms. Updates are published on this page with a new date, and material changes are emailed before they take effect.
41. Governing law and disputes. These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's place of establishment, without limiting mandatory consumer protections where you live. We ask you to contact support before starting formal proceedings.
